Snaps of Grevillea ‘Golden Lyre' at Fairhill Nursery where it was bred. Once seen in full flower, never forgotten. A naturally spreading shrub, it's best given the space to build up layers of its horizontal branches and an occasional tip-prune for density. Drastic remedial pruning only leads to ugly vertical shoots. It's another big-flowered grevillea for those belligerent honey-eaters rather than a prickly habitat grevillea for smaller birds.
